I'm looking for the exact AC Delco PCV for a 1972 w/base 5.7, 200 HP. Eboy shows many, however, they differ in numbers. Example, CV736C comes up by one seller; and another seller shows different application but has same number. Thanks for help.

Re: PCV for 1972
Rochester equipped vehicles use a #CV736C. Holley equipped vehicles use a #CV746C.

Re: PCV for 1972
An AC CV-736C is easy to find and inexpensive. They are still being manufactured but no longer by the AC Division of GM which no longer exists. Functionally, the currently available valve will work fine. However, for a car to be judged there are AC 736C and there are AC 736C. Certain features and embossments of the valves changed over the years. Circe 1972 AC 736C usually sell for more than $2.99.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: PCV for 1972
If you have not already purchased the 6th Edition 70-72 Technical Information Manual and Judging Guide, you should.
Page 171 states...
Original PCV valves have the wording AC SPARK PLUG on the body of the valve with 4-dimples, while service replacements will read AC ROCHESTER and have 9-dimples.
They should be zinc plated and NOT have a purple die on them, like the later service replacements. Picture is what you should have, but not purple die.
