Clean-up after 1966 repaint?

Hi Folks - After having my 1966 repainted (Silver Pearl), there's some light hazy gray overspray in a number of places ... inside fenderwells, suspension and underhood components, etc.. Removal from unpainted surfaces will be relatively easy.

I'm wondering about removal from painted surfaces.

Thanks in advance for any ideas. The car's a driver; not a show car.

(Note: asking the painter for help isn't an option, he passed away since completing the job.)

Bob, inside the fender wells just black spray over it. The “dry spray” may come off with prepsol, polish or Maguire’s #7. Mix a bit of Lysol with it.

This may take some time and a bit of elbow grease.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with prepsol. Google hits for it include "prep-all" ... for removing wax and grease. Is this the same? And are you suggesting to cut the prepsol with Lysol? (and not a polish like Meguire's)
