Replacing bulbs in a 66 gauge cluster/how to remove clock to get rebuilt

I have a 66 L36 w/ac that has a burned out emergency-break bulb. Can I get my hand up to that bulb if I just remove the 5 black head screws I see holding in the gauge cluster? or is that just wishful thinking? Also want to remove clock to get movement repaired any help on that would also be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

The clock is easy its held in by two spring clips (see attachment), I usually remove the glove box liner to get to them - the warning bulb, not so much. I have pulled my cluster forward on 1/4 20 all thread rods replacing the 5 cluster mounting screws and dropped the steering wheel a bit and was able to get to all my bulbs and I converted the "gray wire" (non-warning bulbs) to LEDS...

However, I have monkey arms and piano player fingers and can contort more than most - its no fun but you can try...if you want.

Clock Works can repair your clock or you can take a stab at it yourself...many times the points are pitted or things need lightly lubed.

      Rick,
The AC complicates getting to the bulb. I always pull out the left AC outlet to improve access (three screws, the hose, & the courtesy light).
      Good luck,

        Rick,

I followed the instructions that Frank provided regarding the clock removal (did not remove glove box) and clock removal was fairly easy. It was tougher to get it back in though...the clips, especially on the drivers side, took me at least an hour to get it back on. It is possible to do, but lots of patience required. Good luck.
