      Two views that might help. The 66 is the Smith body.

          No, I'm illustrating the arch of the front belt line on the 64, clearly seen in overhead, and the lack of arch on the 66.

            All this discussion about the arch in the belt line potentially goes away if you are looking at a restored car or a car that has had any front end body repair. It's not a good barometer for A O Smith vs St Louis. Your much better off paying attention to the other body details specifically assembly practices and rivets, they tell a more consistent and accurate story when comparing these bodies. I get it if you are looking at two perfect unrestored original paint bodies the difference is quite unique, but most of what you see today are not those.
