I believe, first 25 units were month and day.

Thanks. I have seen 7B on a car with a VIN lower than 25, so that makes sense.

"7B" doesn't fit to me; cpe #20 is "A25" and body #12 and cpe #23 is "A27", body #13 - obviously a different system than Month and Week, but a far cry from "7B".
