    As long as you have the inside spring installed correctly, the starting position should be mid point. After a couple of cold starts (and I mean COLD) it can be adjusted to close the choke to a full position (which I do not do by the way - only 90% or so) Being in SC full set is not needed. Once this is set to your satisfaction, then set the high idle
