1957 White shift knob and door handle balls

I was going through my original shift knobs . And one had a seam like the turn signal handle . Did the original white shift handle knob and inside door balls have a seam like the turn signal lever .

My (believed to be originals) all have a seam, although very faint. It's the mold parting line where two hemispherical halves of the mold meet. I can't conceive how there couldn't be, only way to mold a sphere. I'm sure there may have been a secondary operation to reduce/remove the flash at the parting line as the molds wore over time so the line might be heavier on some than on others.
