Re: Swivel head LED flashlight
Again, thanks for the suggestions. Here's the one I like so far:
https://www.amazon.com/ELMCHEE-Recha...s%2C175&sr=8-9
I am VERY skeptical that it could have 12,000 lumins but even if it 1200 it's the brightest I've seen. Thanks again all.

Re: Swivel head LED flashlight
I have this one:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and this one:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I find the first one a bit more comfortable, the second is brighter. I have another that isn't comfortable at all.
I have spent a lot of hours working on cars with the first one, and would prefer that one for cars given the amount of time and lighter weight. The second I have used quite a bit recently for hunting and other activities, and it does weigh a bit more which can get noticeable. It has two 3200mAh batteries, which are larger capacity but same size as the first headlamp.
Buy both and play with them.

Thanks for the advise. I think that the one I posted is the one I will get. It has 5 lights, is adjustable, and claims to be brighter than the surface of the sun. Thanks all for you help.

Re: Swivel head LED flashlight
The batteries with that one are only 1500 mAh. Think highly about replacing them with higher capacity batteries if you use it much.Vice-Chairman (West), Michigan Chapter NCRS

Re: Swivel head LED flashlight
Thanks. I ordered a slightly different unit that purports to have even greater lumins (13,000), has 8 lights, and got 5 stars. It didn't say what the batteries mAh were but for my use, it is probably just fine. Thanks to everyone who helped me out.

Here are my thoughts:
1. It does not produce anywhere near 13000 lumens, no matter how you look at it.
2. If your head is a size Large or XL (hat size 7 1/2 or more) then forget it. This thing is small; far smaller than any others I own. It slides right up off my head when I put it on with the adjusters fully extended. I usually wear a L/XL or 7 1/2 to 7 5/8 hat size.
3. There are a lot of lights that take up a lot of space on the front. Having a single smaller light is my preference in regular use as more lights = more weight. However, overall the weight on this unit is not as bad as some.
I hope that helps some others.
I'm sending it back since it's too small for my head.Vice-Chairman (West), Michigan Chapter NCRS

Re: Swivel head LED flashlight
I bought this one just to check it out. It arrived yesterday.

Thanks for the review.
1. As I said above, I highly doubt that it could produce 13,000 lumins but would surely be brighter than the cheap (as in free) HF unit.
2. My hat size is 7. Hopefully it will fit.
3. My thought was that since the lights are from 8 sources it would spread out the light more.
We'll see when I get it.

Re: Swivel head LED flashlight
Found it's easier to try 'em on at Home Depot and Lowes before buying. Just sayin',
