Bought a rebuild kit for a 58 352 horn. No instructions included but the company tutorial mentioned a "fiber Washer" that should be saved and reused. When I took the horn apart I didn't see a fiber washer. Had another horn like the 352 and took it apart and it didn't have a fiber washer either. The reference material used a c3 horn for reference showing the washer. Should the 352 horn have a fiber washer? If so where could I find one? Any info. would be appreciated.

Re: Fiber Washer
Wild guess, but I remember horns activating by ground. At least the column switch supplies the ground to blow the horn. Could the fibre washer be the insulator between the horn and mount. I think the horn has a + (12 volt) connection and is insulated from grounding. The activation is a ground.

Re: Fiber Washer
I think it is supposed to go on the hammer, a round steel shaft attached to the vibrating disc. The hammer/shaft goes down in the coil and when voltage is applied it vibrates causing the horn to sound. The washer could possibly be to keep the hammer/disc from directly contacting the top surface of the coil.- Top
