What is this part?

This plate was with various parts that came with my 69 L71. Any idea what it is?

Can you post picture with ruler and are there threads in the holes and how big are the holes?

It is a seat back shim. Four of them came with the car and were used to adjust the angle of the seat back. There were four round ones for the other side of the seat back as well.

My gut was that it was a seat shim but another member told me it was not? This was between an email not on the forum.

It is a 1968-1969 seat shim. For placement under the striker.
