I am installing the carbs on my 69 427 435. I can't figure out how the linkage for the secondary carbs is supposed to attach to the primary carb. I have all the parts listed in the bolt kit, except for the teflon sleeve. But I can't see where this would matter. If I tighten the nut down so the linkage works the throttle plates on the end carbs, it binds up, and won't move. If I loosen the nut, it just slides in the slot on the center carb, and does not move the linkage. What am I not seeing here? Mark

Re: Problem with carburetor linkage on 3 by 2 setup
The linkage does not open the throttle. The vacuum pots on the other side of the carbs do that. The linkage is there to hold the end carbs closed until you apply WOT and then to close the carbs when you let off.
