Yes, I would say that "Mike" was involved with the transmission somewhere along the way. However, I highly doubt that this was done at the original transmission assembly plant.

You never know, my father retired from GM in the early 80s, last place he worked was at the Hydromatic plant. He told me about a guy that would scribe his name on everything and was drunk most of the time. I'm the 2nd owner and just contacted the wife of the original owner (passed) to see if they had anyone in the family named Mike. No one in the family named Mike. Will remain a mystery.

on all the c-1's I've restored, I run a bead of weld on the bottoms of the seat frames. MMc. look for em boys. mike
