Saturday at Lakeland was a blowout....maybe the best single day since the event moved down there...

Crowds nearly too thick to walk through. The Carlisle sponsors seemed pleased; I don't know how the vendors made out...

A pal sold his split window restomod there for strong money....he only intended to display it in a vendor space but he got an offer he couldn't refuse...

I was there in the corvette area of the swap meet. Friday was cold, wet and windy, but Saturday was perfect. Sold a lot of used (and some NOS) parts I have had laying around the shop, so that was successful. A car I assisted in restoring did really well (98.9) in judging. There were a lot of really nice cars in the NCRS hanger. A lot of the better major vendors were there (Bairs, Al Knoch, etc). As a vendor I mostly had to mind the store, but I did get around and Frank is right in saying it was a resounding success. Having the Florida Regional art the Carlisle event is a win/win IMHO.
