        So, it appears that PS was available with all engine options. (with the possible exception of L88).

        I assume that the L68 engine is included with the L 36 numbers. (Same motor....3x2 carbs)

        Thank you for the info.

            That is how GM production records are listed for the Corvette N-40 option in '67. The trick is determining what does AH and AK mean.

              Dave------

              My guess is that "AH" = L-36 and "AK" = L36/L-68

                According to Noland's book.
                AH= L36 and C60.
                AK= L36.

                  Well, somehow there had to be some L-68 built with N-40. So, it may be that L-36 and L-68 were "lumped together" as far as these statistics go.

                    Joe,
                    I agree with you, the L36 and L68 were lumped together.

                      What is the difference between AB L-79 and AD L-79?
                      I have a 67 - L-79 with power steering.

                        Per Noland Adam's book:

                        AB= L79--- 1967 production: 802 units
                        AD= L79 w/ C60 Air Conditioning--- 1967 production: 336 units

                          I admit to never fully understanding the EXC designations. However, I have found the EXC almost always refers to other options the car was equipped with. The '66 N-40 production #s show a notation AH is L-36 427 wac 425 units and AK is L-36 427 woac 608 units. Do not remember where this hand written notation came from.

                            My 67 is a 390hp, M21, C60, N40.
                            The order copy sheet lists the power steering as Option 02N40AH.
                            Have owned this car since 1978.
