tom, you would be surprised what tricks florescent light will play on your eye's. i have painted cars and if it looks good under shop lights it will look great in the sun. yes red will look like it changes color. more so on a solid colors vers a metallic colors. from what i can see in the photo you have one super paint job there.

My 68 has has the Rally Red paint the General put on it. It does look a little orange in some lights and red in others. Hard to tell from pictures but yours looks good to me. Nice car.

painted on a 70 Z28. Your car looks to me more like a Monza Red then Rally Red. See picture below. Car
has been sold. But what do I know?? Larry

Just a followup>When I took my 70 Z28(Monza Red) to some local car shows I was surprised to
hear from some people that said>"You have a beautiful Orange Z28". I did not see the car that way.
Yes it did have and I believe Monza Red has some orange tint in it more than Rally Red but it is still
RED. I believe that people in general are different from each other when it comes to the human eye
to distinguish that fine point when orange becomes red or vise versa. JMHO>>Larry
