    Kick Panel Identification

I'm trying to identify two interior kick panels. So far the best bet is they are out of a 1972. The inside panel markings are R 471910 R.H and L 471909 L.H.. The right hand panel has a gP marking inside a circle. The left hand panel has a stamped G.P. on the same line as the stamped number.

These part numbers did not even exist in 1972. These covers were used on 1978-82 and became SERVICE for 1968-77 in January, 1982. The original covers for 1972 were GM #3964113 and 3964114.

Thanks for the info. I guess service means they will fit. I knew they were wrong for my 69 and I have replaced them with beleived to be correct ones.

Well, if by "wrong" you mean "incorrect as to originality" the answer is definitely yes. As far as functionality goes, they are fine.

The original panels for a 1969 were GM #3930495 and 3930496.
