I'm trying to identify two interior kick panels. So far the best bet is they are out of a 1972. The inside panel markings are R 471910 R.H and L 471909 L.H.. The right hand panel has a gP marking inside a circle. The left hand panel has a stamped G.P. on the same line as the stamped number.

These part numbers did not even exist in 1972. These covers were used on 1978-82 and became SERVICE for 1968-77 in January, 1982. The original covers for 1972 were GM #3964113 and 3964114.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Well, if by "wrong" you mean "incorrect as to originality" the answer is definitely yes. As far as functionality goes, they are fine.
The original panels for a 1969 were GM #3930495 and 3930496.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
