Corvette C2 Knock Off spinner alternative

Does anybody have information if these nuts as alternative for the spinners are still available or what similar nuts should measure in order to be used on Knock offs?

For function, if not form, any old Halibrand steel spinner with 2-5/8" threads will work on the Corvette KO adapters. The most common Halibrand steel spinner says "Torrence CA" in raised letters, Bonus points awarded if you find the even earlier, and astonishingly rare and valuable steel Halibrand spinners with the words "Culver City CA" on them.

Those in the know please share some info on those nuts. I have never seen that photo or any on a car. Was it a GM replacement to be DOT compliant after they went away from spinners on wheels and wire covers? Just curious to know. Chip.
