Parts manual dated 10/72 calls for 7813351 for 69-71. It later changed to 7818568 listed as 69-81 in both my 9/75 and 3/83 manual. Not sure about usage in other lines but more than likely.

Most likely, it was GM #7808553. This coupler has a "flat spot" which keys it to the L1969-82 worm gear shaft.

Earlier 1969 used coupler GM #7806391. This coupler had no flat spot and could be oriented to any position on the 1963-E1969 style worm gear shaft.

I believe that by December, 1969 the GM #7808553 was in use in conjunction with the GM #7807759 steering gear. However, it's remotely possible that the earlier style might have been used.

GM #7818568 was the last available part number for the L1969-82 coupling. This coupler was used across all GM car and truck lines except Cadillac. It is discontinued without supersession.

This is a good example for using the GM Parts Wiki site to cross reference to other lines.
Entering the part #7818568 in the query string field yields a number of other GM uses: trucks, Buick, Olds:

Oftentimes you'll see the supersession info too.
