    1956 corvette powerglide dipstick and tube

    i am looking for information, specifications, and dimensions for original dipstick and tube. NCRS judging manual shows great picture of wire stock dipstick, but no dimensions. i have been told that corvette is longer than passenger car. I have owned car since 1967 and have a flat stock dipstick. please help me sort this out. Please let me know dimensions of original parts and if there would be a source to purchase. member 3099

      Dennis,

      Parts book show the 55-7 passenger car & Corvette PG dipstick is the same part number.

      Your best source will be the Tri5 Chevy parts guys.

              Sorry, missed the "Tube" question. Tube like PG dipstick is same as Passenger car.

              Like I said the Tri5 Chevy guys should have plenty of the PG dipstick and tubes available.

              Check with Pete http://www.rt66restorationsupplies.com/ if they don't have any, they'll know where to send you to.
