It would be worth even more if they molded in a pre-65 silver quarter.

This would be a good place to mold in build order for safe keeping and easy reference.

Have a screw in the spare tire carrier cover that I purchased recently for my '64. I don't think that this is an isolated occurrence.

I had a similar "feature" in the spare tire carrier cover on my 1964 that I sold about 5 years ago...

Re: '64 Factory Flawed Tire Carrier Cover

Take it to Barret-Jackson or Mecum and they will sell it to some idiot as a one only 64 at four times the real asking price.

I once owned a Black 66 BB and when it was auctioned I found it was the famous "Black RAT" show car. I should have researched that 66 more before I sold it!

I am certainly surprised my '64 is not the only one with the screw "feature"! So much for my valuable one-of-a-kind!! Makes you wonder about what was going on at the factory and their "quality control." They may have run short of screws!!

Well, none of my 3 have it. So it is likely pretty rare......

I gotta say, I'm disappointed in you folks! I thought for sure someone would say, something along the lines of: "well that's a 3654987 and goes to the second from the rear mounting hole in the body drain access cover above the passenger half-shaft."
