There are several free birthday calculators on line, the C2 registry has one, or you can purchase the Shipping Data Report from the NCRS that will also include the dealer it was delivered to. The two that I bought gave the same date as the free birthday calculator

You can check your body build date located on your trim tag. For St Louis cars, typically close (within a day or so). A.O. Smith cars, body shipping time typically adds a week to 10 days.

Body build date plus VIN Birthday book date should put you in the ballpark.

          Bruce,
You can also do it the "long" way as described in Noland Adams' Corvette restoration book. That's what I did a few years ago and came up with a date that was one day off from the shipping data report from NCRS. The date that NCRS had was the same day as the body build. Noland Adams reports that it was unlikely (not impossible though) for the car build date to be the same as the body build date. In the end, I deferred to my calculated date instead of the NCRS date. Seemed to make more sense.....at least to me

On a 63, the number after the letter is the week of the month ( 1 to 5 ) not the day.

              Harry,

              I didn't notice that he had a 1963.

Month and week for 1963's - except first 25, they were month and day.

              Dave

Note: OP shows ownership of 2003, 1962, 1957, 1958. Subject line had "C2" in blue - bad assumption on my part. If C1, then back to the Birthday Book!

David, I did not intent to confuse. I do not know if he has a 63. I was just sharing that there is a difference depending on the year.
