That's over the top $$$. you can take yours and drill the two holes, add the clip, bolt, washer and nut. Yours has the added extra washers for strength, keep those.

The one on eBay is a real 63 bracket, but, if those holes come out of round you will not like the noise you get.

Or better still purchase the 64 bracket for $60 and drill holes in it, paint and you are all set for judging. It to is on ebay.
      Keep yours for driving around.

Thanks guys. It never crossed my mind the check E Bay for pictures. I was only expecting to see one hole but since this car will never be judged it looks like I will be drilling a couple of holes in the one I have. I think I will wait though until I have the clip in my hand.

I hadn't replaced the bolt when the picture was taken.

The clip is on the cable in Richards picture. The tip goes in one hole and the bolt, washer and nut occupy the other.

I see why there is two holes now.

Yup - its not worth it; I'm running my original 63 bracket but have a reinforced one on the shelf should I ever need it....

The TSB concerning the reinforcements is attached.

When were two front bolts changed to a single "through" bolt? Would that be in a 1963 or 1964 A.I.M.?

Was there an interim period in which the front bolt used a castle nut?

                  Thanks

The forward bolts were changed to a through bolt for the 1965 model year. This bolt was retained with a slotted nut and cotter pin.
