    Anyone know what this is, I've had it since 1975.

      Hard to say cannot tell the size, could it be a caliper bleeder cover?

          It is plastic. As I recall it was to cover a screw head on the removable T-Top.

              it does look as though it slides over a stud. My 72 is at Bob's house so I cannot look at the moment.
