    bloomington score

I know we are all NCRS guys. Having said that some no doubt get their cars judged at Bloomington. here is my question. how do you figure out what your actual score is, My car was previously judged and scored Gold with a total of 200 points deducted? what is the actual score? How do you figure it? appreciate your help. BTW the car scored 98.8 at an NCRS meet.

The BG scoring sheets used to have a total of possible points that could be obtained. Unless they have changed 5 points used to be the minimum deduction. It has been quite a few years since I walked off the judging field never to go back.

I miss you Dicky being at BG. I too have not been for several years. I remember the last meet you were at in BG.
Hope you are safe and well. Regards

Thought Bloomington Gold folded it's tent after it left Springfield! At least it did for most of us!

I had my 57 judged there last year. If I remember correctly there are 7,500 points possible. As Dick said, 5 points are the minimum deduction. I received a gold.

I agree but what a great time. I think those were the best times ever for Corvette lovers & the Fun at the Holiday Inn & on the fair grounds. Back then it was a hobby not a business as we know of it today.

Jamie I miss my Corvette family but there comes a time...... I do not miss the BG BS. I got a reaming from a senior judge, for deducting more points on my section than the whole rest of the team combined, about the third year I judged there. I was justified in every deduction I took. He then told me how well BG treated their judges, feeding them and one night in a motel room. I proceeded to tell him how it cost me about $1,500 to come up and judge for one night in a motel and a $10 meal. End of the conversation when something like Flaming A.....as I slammed the phone down. I did not go back for several years before I gave in to the then senior judge and went back to judge for a couple of years.

Remember the year there was so much tire burnout it set the Holiday Inn smoke alarm of.

That used to be a wild place. I went the watch a couple of times, the later in the night, the crazier (dumber) some of them got. Time to leave

You are very kind with your words. I would have said The drunker they got, I always worried that someone would lose it & plow into the townies. They would pinch in at the end of the drive way. I did love staying there. Easy walk to the BG show & the night one,

Wish you could have seen the show at Bloomington! You could buy anything for any Corvette! From Mike Pilsbury in the end of the old Barn to Jerry Cohn on the front row the stuff was there!

I was fortunate to be a vendor at the Bloomington location. I believe there were more vendors than Corvette Carlisle
