    Identify: F. T. Hopkins - Chev. engineering circa 1960

I'm trying to identify "F. T. Hopkins", believed to be an employee of GM Engineering circa 1960. His mailing address was in the General Motors Building. "2-211" was apparently part of his mailing address, designating a room(?), area(?), division(?) or ????

He does not show up in a TOE I have for Chev Engineering in 1955. He had an associate (cc'd on some reports) known only as
    "Phelica".

Hopkins is of interest because he was believed to be a designated recipient of "reports" filed with Chevrolet pursuant to one of their "engineering test contracts". All information welcomed! Thanks.

I just realized that 203 have clicked on this topic and received nothing because the communication shifted to private e-mail. I'll try to briefly respond.

There was indeed an F. T. Hopkins at the GM Bldg. and he was involved, at least as a conduit, in Chevrolet's testing program. One of Fred Gamble's early "reports" specifically asks whether the format of his letter is what "they" want, and, if not, what do they want. Hopkins disappears from the GM telephone book in 1967 and whether it is a job change, transfer or ? is unknown.

Various communicators are involved, including ZAD, Fred Warner, Lucky Casner and Fred Gamble and include from Camoradi Racing in Florida, Detroit and Modena Italy. Thanks for your interest.

Loren, what year was all this happening?
You would need to ask someone in the ZAD inner circle - one of those guys is still around...
