        Sunday morning update from Reba


        I spoke with the night nurse about 5AM. He had a stable night and they will address the breathing vent today.

                                Dick's sister has just reported that his temp is below 100 and he is alert. Breathing tube will remain for now.

                                                Just got off the phone with Reba...she's at Dick's side and the respirator has been removed, his fever is just about normal, he had a comfortable night and she put the phone on speaker so he could hear me and after this damn yankee (as he calls me) gave him heck he was smiling, trying to laugh but really didn't talk yet...I told him everyone was pulling for him and he acknowledged with a huge grin...keep the prayers and well wishes coming...
