Hi-Ordered 8 of these through parts back in the day- 4 for my 59, and 4 for "just to have".
Big letdown when they came in- Sent 6 back, and kept 2- for posterity, I guess!!

I ordered 4 and sent them back also. I remember my neighbor and parts man saying there was no parts number for the ears. He even checked to see if other large dealers in the region had the ones with ears in stock. Great guy!

Mark, they are knock offs for 56-62 wheel covers.

Hi Mark- These are what you got when you ordered 56-62 hubcap spinners from GM; after the gov. (like Jimmy said- Ralph Nader) outlawed knock off spinners. (safety concerns)
I never did understand what simulated knock off spinners had to do with functional knock off spinners!
Anyway- Big disappointment when you thought you were getting NOS hubcap spinners, but received paper weights!

I think if you google "Corvette knockoff wheels" you'll come up with a listing for a "dealer" in the NW who'll let you in on a set for only $399........might want to equip the whole fleet..........
