Hi all,
I am prepping my '69 convertible for its very first Flight judging in a few weeks and couldn't be more excited. All I really have left to do is to apply the various chassis and engine markings, stickers, etc..
I bought a chassis marking kit from Quanta that includes two frame P/N stencils, and I am not sure which one would be more appropriate to use. My car has a manual transmission and was built on July 22, 1969 (that's the date on the trim tag).
One of the stencils reads:
3973880-65
3.31.69
The other reads:
3973880-68
6.24.69
I am not sure why they included two, and I can't tell from the judging guide which one is more appropriate for my car. I am leaning toward the second one, since 6/24/69 is about a month before the car's build date, but before I go forward, I thought I'd check here. Any help?
Thanks,
Paul
