3729004 flywheel identification

Does anyone know if this flywheel stamped 8729004 is really a 3729004.

According to my 1963 Chevrolet Parts Catalog (Oct. 1962). GM # 3739423 is the part number listed for many 1962 and older Chevrolet and Corvette models as well as a 1963 PASS. (409)(exc. P.G.) with a description "w/10" coil and diaphragm spring clutch (11 5/8" bolt circle)(cast 3729004)". Your flywheel is dated "G202" or July 20, 1962, for a very late 1962 model or early 1963 model.
In my notes about Corvette flywheels I have the following:
56-59 3729003 (cast 3729004)
60-62. 3739423 (cast 3729004)
From my Chevrolet Parts History manuals:
3729003 replaced by 3739423 in 4/60 which was replaced by 3986390 on 12/71 (for service parts).
I would say the "8" in the casting number should have been a "3". Foundry workers do make mistakes just like other people.

That's what I figured Dave. I goggled the part number and came up with nothing. Just wanted to make sure. This flywheel is original and has never been cut. Thanks for answering me. Much appreciated .
