Re: '63-'65 Battery Hold Down
Well the pop rivets are not stock. The shield, pn 3831632, is same for 63/64. According to AIM it was spot weld in 3 places to the retainer, pn 3710825. My two examples also show the shield being a little larger.
Now the 63/64 (only AIM's I have) also have a hole for #20, retainer. The original one in the car has that however the one pictured here does not. So some time that was eliminated.
The Shield, pn 3831632, was used from 55-66 (ref 68 P&A Cat).- Top

Re: '63-'65 Battery Hold Down
Geoffry,
Well back to beginning, sorry should read closer. The pn 533308 is not included in the AIM for the battery on the 63/64.
So just what part is your question for? part in square boxAttached Files- Top

Re: '63-'65 Battery Hold Down
Gentlemen,
I have a few of the battery shields and as you can see they are NOS. I would be willing to take less than $1,000.00 for one or all!
May seem a little high but you gotta have one to get a Duntov award. Just trying to help out!
