    1954 door mirror placement

    Hi Guy's. The wholes were filled in for the outside mirror on my 54. Can someone please tell me how far back it sits from the door edge front .And from the side.I looked and searched everywhere came up empty. ANY help would be appreciated. Thanks Bob Winski

      CAn you see where they were from inside the door with the panel off?

          Can't really tell.Just need someone with a 54 that could measure there mirror an give me the dimensions

              Hi Bob, my mirror measures 3 inches straight back from the door edge and 2 inches from the windshield edge of the door. These are to the front tip of the mirror. My holes were original if it helps. Good luck
