Harry just put studded snow tires on the 63's and you'll be okay.

Re: 2020 - No more driving
I'm in Bradford right now, the next town to the northwest. It's 26*, had about 2" of snow yesterday and now black ice is delaying our driving jaunt back to Florida. But not in the '59.

Re: 2020 - No more driving
We had our first snow showers today but this week is supposed to be all 60s and 70s by the weekend. I think I'll take the Corvette out this week some day for a good 30 mile trip then put her away for the winter. Sad that it's that time of year already and I didn't do much of anything all summer.

Re: 2020 - No more driving
My cue to putting the car away for the Winter is not the cold or snow, but rather the inordinate amount of salt that's used on the roads here in the hinterland of upstate NY! This occurs each year about the beginning of Nov.- Top

Re: 2020 - No more driving
Mine? After 34 1/2 years I've owned it still doing fine. My driver. Except the last 3 years not driven much, health issues, clutch knee problems, right foot gout, pinched neck nerves due due cervical stenosis, eye issues.... generally just old man stuff. But my 59 just keeps going. LOL.
I got it out a few months ago. A few shots of gas in the primary carb, vroom, started right up. Took for a drive right front brake pulled a bit. After about 10 stop n goes..... It fixed itself!!!
I have a complete power top setup I want to add but not sure if I want to now...... Lost ambition unfortunately.
The most reliable car I've ever owned.

Once the salt hits the roads, I'm done until it washes off, which is usually late April to early May.Vice-Chairman (West), Michigan Chapter NCRS
