My vote would be to have an NCRS meet like we did have at Kissimmee. Who needs a Carlisle Swap meet anyway?

The Florida Chapter has worked their butts off in the past to have the BEST NCRS Meet every year and we as NCRS member take our hats off to them.

Jim, I talked with them a little over a week ago and was told by the "assistant to the owners" that they will be holding the Car Auction but not the Flea Market. They will not have any entry fee as before. Only fee is for bidders as I understand it. For our event in order to receive judging points is to register and attend. We will not be changing an entry fee to get into hanger D. To many doors !! Hope all is well.

The NCRS Board of Directors met this morning via Zoom to consider the rapidly worsening situation with COVID-19 nationwide and its implications for the Florida Regional scheduled for February 18-20, 2021, in Lakeland. After much discussion, the Board concluded that in the best interests of the health and well-being of the NCRS membership, we need to cancel this Regional event. The Board recognized that there are likely financial implications resulting from this decision for the Florida Chapter, and the Board is committed to making the Chapter whole in that regard. The Board also recognizes that the Florida Chapter may choose to proceed with this event as a Chapter-level judging event. We know this news comes as a disappointment to the Chapter, but as noted earlier we feel the decision is in the best interests of the NCRS membership.

PayPal refunds were made last evening to all the car owners and members that had already registered for the Winter Regional. Checks will be in the mail shortly for those that paid by check. Contact me if you have any questions or concerns about your refund.

Paul and Coach do deserve a round of applause for all their hard work. Only those who have done it will understand how much work goes into arranging a Regional. Much/Most of that work is before the event and unseen by the participants.

The force majeure created by this world wide pandemic has affected all of us. Some more than others. All of us should stay safe and healthy.
