Period photos of my '60, I'm it's third owner, I purchased it in 1974.
I have undertaken a body-off on it that is lasting much too long!....

Bert, Hang in there you'll get it done. I love that '58-'60 look with the hardtop. Other than '60 body color wheels vs my '59 all black wheels..... identical. These taken the day I got it 35 years ago. I've contemplated a body off many times.

There are two original paint '60s here where I live. One black/silver, one maroon/white. Both are very nice and they're owned by great guys that have no intention of selling them. I guess '60s are too nice to sell!

I'll get pictures next time I see them, but it's going to be awhile.

my first Corvette was a 1960 FI. Bought it in Watertown, Ma in 1963. It already had a replacement engine (327), Owned it until about 1965. Went to 56/57's and still there today.

Pat, Coincidentally, when I lived in NH, in the mid 90s I decided to have all of the chrome on my 59 redone. Took 4 bumpers, rear teardrops, license light housings, grille surrounds, and grille bar, to Watertown MA to Waltham Plating. They started the business in Waltham years prior but moved to Watertown next town over. Nice New England historical areas along the Charles River.

BTW....All 11 pieces came out perfect and cost $900. Those were the days.
