If you're asking if the blue stripe is supposed to be an integral part of the rubber, then the answer is "no". As far as the best source for hoses (and, many other excellent repro and some NOS), Doc Rebuild has always been my "go to" guy. Unfortunately, with this Rona virus, he is temporarily closed.Leif

I've never known of a radiator hose with the blue line molded into the rubber. The line and numbers were stamped on every hose I have ever seen.Leif

The stripes were painted on. I guarantee the new one you got looks like a 3 year old put it on. I have some original 67 hoses and the stripes were not molded into the rubber, but rather applied to the hose. Also, IMO the hue of the blue on repro hoses isn't close to the hue on originals. ARA- Top
