72 LT1 renovation question

The horn button on my 72 LT1 (non tilt steering) has a crack. In looking through a suitable OEM replacement, my research produced that non tilt steering the upper corner of the crossed flag is black and the tilt column the corner of the flag is white. I'm trying to find out if this information is correct.

Yes it is correct for 1971 only.
