    Jerry,

NOS blanks for ‘67 are readily available, so no need to buy repros. My guess is that some repros won’t have the knockout in place.

Do you know your two key codes? If your locks are original to the car, the ign lock cylinder (or door locks, but they are a royal pain to get at) should show one code and the glove box push button should show the secondary key code.

        Jerry,

In addition to what Gary said about codes, if you have your original warranty booklet, sometimes dealers would write the two key codes down on the page opposite the POP - or somewhere around there. Might be worth a look if you have that booklet. thx, Mark

          Jerry,

Here’s a set on eBay. You need two sets. You can find ‘67 NOS blanks with either a smaller hole for the key ring, or a larger hole. The ones with the larger hole are more typical of 67 keys, so the ones on eBay look more correct to me. Gary

If one has any paperwork from the selling dealer there may be key codes shown. Several Corvettes I have owned show the key codes on the bill of sale from the selling dealer, and I have seen some written on Owner's manuals.

you might be able to see the code on the drivers side door tumbler. look down between the window and the door. you'll need a good light and you may need a long handle artists brush to knock the dust off. the locks may be symmetrical such that either the driver or passenger side is upside down relative to the other. so if you can't see it on the drivers side try the passenger side. i could see mine on the drivers side. i'm sure someone here will know. it's very faint and the stamped lettering is very small so you'll have to look carefully.

Jerry, Pete Lindahl helped me with my 67, great guy. He can help with yours as well.

if you have a A.O. Smith car the key code might be on the birdcage dash cross bar.

The glove compartment cylinder will have the code for the round key which also unlocks the spare tire. Agreed that Pete is the best and he usually can help with NOS blanks.

                            Jerry,

Congrats. I know how good it feels to find something you know you stored somewhere but can’t remember where.

If your keys have the key codes in the knockouts, it might be a good time to make a note of them!
