    Re: Brass/copper radiator core repair/replacement

I had my 68 BB radiator re cored about two years ago. Wasn't easy finding a shop to do it . At one time we had radiator repair shops all over the tri state area but there's one left in New Jersey. They're called FINGERS and located in North Brunswick N.J. The price was $500.00 for a GM re core and around $100.00 less for a standard core. They did an excellent job , car runs cool etc. Not sure where your located but it's one option for you. Good luck

I had a local place do mine. They may have sent it out. However, I was VERY specific that I wanted the original upper and lower braces reused.
They did it with no problems.

Gainesville Radiator here in Gainesville Ga did mine 2 months ago.
They shipped it to MI for core replacement and re installed my original top and bottom rails along with sides and metal tag.
          Works good so far.
But it's not very close to Texas.
