Hi all!
I got to work on A/C component of my 1973 corvette now. I did some reading and found articles saying the original VIR (Valve in Receiver) should be replaced with a VIR Eliminator (like this one: https://www.napacanada.com/en/p/NTCA...wordInput=vir).
My system has a label stating that is was converted from R12 to R134a years ago. I wonder, is there any real advantage in replacing the original VIR, has anyone here done that and saw improvements in cooling power?
Thanks!
