    1969 Corvette console data plate

My plate is missing information. As far as I can tell it's original. Is it common to have the normal engine data missing?
    Thanks

I've never seen one like this. I've got to wonder if someone removed the missing information. Otherwise, I'd say it's a "factory defect" data plate.

        Hi Carl,
Are you the original owner? Reason I'm asking is that I notice the remnants of black paint on the raised chrome areas of the plate. Those raised areas should be free of paint. Possible signs of an earlier restoration and maybe a replacement blank data plate. Just a thought.

Anything is possible, but if it looks to be the original, than it more than likely is.

Thought something was a miss when I bought it 42 years ago. Since then I have driven it 400 miles, just turned 67000. I did replace the arm rest and touched it up with spray die. Good catch, cleaned that up with some lacquer thinner. I hope to drive it a little more since retiring. The biggest problem with this car is carbs and gasoline. Been feeding it with aviation fuel 100 octane low lead.

I have a plate like the one Leif attached but could not glue it on.
            Thanks guys for your responses.
