Just trying to help a friend.

He received a Shipping Data Report with a build date of November 5th 1962. The Birthday Calculator comes up with November 8th 1962. I know where the data comes from on each one, I'm not disputing either.

The question is, were there any St. Louis plant closures that week 11/5/62 to 11/9/62.

Harry could it be a Friday vs Monday scenario? What week does the Trim Tag show?

I don't have a 1962 calendar handy. What days are 5 & 8?

No plant closures shown week of 5-9 November in the Birthday Book.

Birthday book does show "Labor Strike - No units produced" from Tuesday 13th thru Wednesday 21st. 22 November was Thanksgiving, so Friday 23rd was the next day showing production units.

Harry, email me the vin and I'll double check. Mistakes happen and after looking at the calendar and seeing November 5th is a Sunday I'd like to check it.

The official build date is correct. I'm not sure where the birthday calculator came from but I'd caution those who put a lot of faith in it. Also it looks to me like the web site for the 62 calendar that was referenced is incorrect. Nov 5 is a Monday. Let me know what I missed.
