    Parts Tumbler/Vibratory

Do any of you own a parts tumbler/vibratory? If so what brand, needs to be big enough to put a drive shaft in.

What restoration does this driveshaft need?

      What about media blasting?

If you glass bead them and then tumble them it puts a nice finish on them. Can be done to other things.

Check with your local engine/machine shop about shot blasting, NOT bead/sand blasting.
It works great, and the box they use is likely large enough.

Whenever you touch a driveshaft, have it balanced. Install new U-joints with the slip yoke and have it balanced as a unit. When you take it apart to install it, mark it with crayon so it go back in the same way.

It arrived in St. Louis as a balanced assembly.

I measured the drive shaft and it measured 31 inches, so not that big.
