    Firewall insulation

I ordered upper firewall insulation for my 64 and I received these two pieces. I can't fgure out how it is installed. It doesn't look anything like the picture in the AIM. Does anyone have a photo of this insulation on their car.
    Thank you

    Eugene,
Here is a photo of the installed firewall insulation. Larger piece to the left. Once you line up the holes it will make sense to you. I used 3M spray adhesive and it adhered very well.

        Hi Gene. Happy New Year
Are you referring to upper or lower insulation or both.?? The lower insulation would have a skin of thick black paper.

            Hi Dave,
            It's the upper insulation.

              Re: Firewall insulation

While you are at this point, you may want to weld the wiper drive arms to the spindles that go thru the cowl. This eliminates some of the "slop" in the wiper movement, as they wipe the windshield......
