67'-securing driver and passenger glass in window arm channel

When I removed the glass from the channels there was some adhesive or tape at the bottom edge of the glass to help secure it tightly in the channel. What sort of tape or adhesive is use Someone told me it use to be cork tape. Is this true and what would be a good replacement?

    Thx
    Dave

    Dave,
you will need glass setting tape, you can find it at most of the vendors. A search on the forum will yield plenty of direction for setting the glass back in the sash.
