65 with AC - Battery Disconnect Switch

Looking for advice and/or recommendations on installing the Wirth top post battery disconnect switch on my "soon to be completed" '65 coupe with air conditioning (&C60) frame off restoration. . . .

Here's what I'm trying to determine before my purchase:
    1) Since I am planning on installing it on the negative battery post and with the battery located below the power brake booster, is there any part interference concerns that I should be aware of?

    2) Is the horizontal lever switch or the vertical lever switch preferred?

Any thoughts and/or recommendations are appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

I think you should be fine. I have one on my 63.

Oops, the negative cable is different on yours as I recall.

      Negative cable, yes.
I prefer this style. A bit more compact and I can completely unscrew the green knob and take with with me at a show.

There are 2 quality levels of this part. Chineasium usually $5-6. And the good one Belden Napa Corvette Central et al...$20+

Here is the orientation I had in my 64 coupe w/ac and power brakes. It fit just fine.

It’ll be the Wiron with the vertical vertical lever for my ‘65 w/AC. . . .

Good move, I've had two of the green/black knob flizzes fail over the years (not the cheap ones either); seems over time I had to crank down harder and harder on the knob to make good contact and eventually even that wasn't good enough to make a strong enough circuit to start the car. Been using the knife blade switch for 7 years now and no issues.
