Having a problem with the wipers will not run? If I do have to remove the wiper motor how involved is it to have it rebuilt?

Not involved at all just send it off to Jay Maxwell and stroke a check...
But you can check several things first, make sure the dash Bowden cable is adjusted properly to move the motor's slider to start it going. (1st pic, yellow arrow)
You can also refer to the ST-12 (free online) http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com...62csg1204.html
and do some troubleshooting - pay particular attention to the contact points under the motor cover; they control lo/hi/park functions and have to be adjusted correctly for things to operate (ask me how I know). (2nd pic)
