Source for an original 5/8 ribbed hose?

    Hey guys,
My silver L79 has a completely original smog system, except for ONE hose. The 3.5 inch ribbed hose that goes from the mixture control valve to the carb. There are no GM markings or part numbers on it, just 5 ribs. Hose has a 5/8 ID. Anyone know where i can find an original piece of hose from? It can be a heater hose which had same configuration and i can cut it down, etc...It's just this ONE hose is bothering me. Any leads would be super appreciated as always. I'd be interested in an original hose with any number of ribs on it be honest with you as it would be better than the hose I have on there now.
Happy New Year. Hope to see you all at an event in the near future.
    God Bless
    ARA

There's probably many sources for the stuff, but I just binged 5/8 ribbed heater hose and the first place is McVeys Cadillac parts.
Sold by the foot, and looks like the stuff in the photo up on your thread on the CF. Get er done..

Thanks so much for the link. I will do that if i can't find a piece of original hose. My whole engine bay is original and unrestored so i really wanted to find a hose that matched the patina of my engine bay - but beggars can't be choosers. I will hold out hope to find an original piece, and if not McVey's it is. LOL.
      Thanks Don!

        Ara,

        You might check with https://www.rt66restorationsupplies....act%20info.htm

Pete has USA made ribbed hoses for Tri 5's. And he's a fellow NCRS member.

Ara can you post or email me a photo? The Jag '72 V12 uses the GM Emissions system and I might have it on the engine somewhere. It's high on the lift I could climb up and check. It's all original stuff. I'm removing the entire system as the buyers in Europe don't want or need the US requirement equipment. Air Pump, valves, hoses, pipes and rails are coming off.

            Rich,
See my post from yesterday, 13 posts down from this one. Tom posted nice pics of an original hose. Thanks

                Ara,
here is an original GM hose on eBay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/224348982548

it does have a marking however because of the short length I suspect my piece was cut in between the markings. You can’t beat this price.

Pretty funny Tom. I saw that one this morning and emailed the seller to let me know what the ID is. If it's 5/8 i'm on it. Can't beat the price as you said. Thanks..We shall see.

The part# on that hose is 3885065 which by my gmpartswiki.com quick check.... Is not Corvette.

What is the Corvette application part#. No AIM in front of me.

But that Ebay hose may be longer so you could cut it, but the Pass car guys might be mad at you.. -

Thanks Rich. I know it's the not right hose, but it's closer than what i have until i can find a real one. The Corvette part number is 3890406.
Thanks guys. I hope to find one soon. ARA

Ara, I understand. I climbed up on the lift a bit ago and took a few shots of the jag setup. Looks like it is a different hose(the one with 2 squeeze clamps to the right). IIRC it's the original hose and I've saved everything I took off that car for the last 30 years. BTW in the jag world that Control Valve is called a "Gulp" valve.... lol.

This comes off the back of another valve from the rails. I forget what it's called though. I can check that hose too.

The more I think about it it wouldn't make sense for jaguar to buy GM hoses when they had local suppliers.

Ara, since you are looking for smog parts why don't you try Camaro parts websites. A lot of Camaros came with smog systems, I am not sure if they are the same as Corvettes.
