1956-1962 front hub identification

I am looking for some help in properly identifying the front hubs that are in the attached pictures. I have read that 1953-58 hubs differ from the 1959-62 hubs, but I can’t find a write-up anywhere that details the specific differences. In looking at used hubs being offered on eBay, I see that some have 4 extra holes and some have a single additional hole (other than the lug stud bolt holes). These particular hubs have 1 extra hole.

For C1 Corvette hubs the primary difference lies in the dimension of the inner & outer bearing cone. If you have a '62/'63 P & A book look in GRP 6.307 and most of the different dimensions are given. The 909 #s listed are New Departure-Hyatt Bearing part numbers. Obviously many other GM cars used a similar looking hub so buyer beware especially on EBay. Could give more info but trying to keep simple.

I measured the OD of my early and late hubs:
'58: inner OD 2.71 outer OD 2.53 this hub has rivet holes
'59: inner OD 2.79 outer OD 2.65 this hub does not have rivet holes.

Thanks for providing the measurements Bill. I measured my hubs and they have the thicker "snout" that matches your 2.79"/2.65" measurements. Thus they are heavier duty 1959-62 hubs.
