Engine Stampings on a 1996 LT1

Can someone tell me where the engine stampings are located on a 96 LT1 engine.

I think I recall it is at the drivers side back area sort of behind the head. It is very hard to see. Transmission is stamped on the tail piece.

Tom,
Front pad has engine specific info. Best to remove the coil to view. Vin info is on a machined surface on driver side rear of block. Best to send you a picture. Email me so I have your address.

This is a 1992. Not sure if 1996 is the same.
