          On a 67 the wires come from the switch on the tansmission thru the tunnel clips and up onto the firewall thru a clip as shown and connect to a 2 pole connector w/pink and green wires.

                  The colors shown on my photo for the wires from the switch are incorrect. I have since replaced the switch wiring with the correct colors: black w/pink tracer and black w/green tracer.
